How can I sign up for a Library Card?

You can request one in person by following the steps below.

  • Ask librarian for an application form - this will require a valid form of ID (Driver's License, Visa, Passport, State ID, etc) as well as your name, birthday, mailing and physical address, phone number, email, and a signature.
  • If your ID DOES NOT match your current address, we will need proof of address that is no older than 1 year old. (Lease, package, utility bill, etc)

You can also request one online by clicking the following link: https://norwood.catalog.aspencat.info/

  • Click on Login on the left hand side
  • It will bring a popup window that asks for your library card number and last name. Directly below the last name in blue letters it says Register for a new Library Card. Click on this link and follow the instructions
  •  When you submit this, it will be sent to our staff and someone will be contacting you to finish the process.

Do you offer a GED program?

We no longer have an instructor for our GED program, but we still have the GED materials for you to research on your own. We also offer a program called Career Online Highschool. This program allows you to receive your actual high school diploma, provides you with a teaching coach and allows you to transfer any high school credits that you may have.
