Charlie Fowler Collection

A collage showcasing a library shelf, a collection cabinet, and images related to mountaineering, labeled "Charlie Fowler Collection."

Charlie Fowler (February 18, 1954 – November 14, 2006) was an extraordinary mountain climber, writer, and photographer. Known as one of North America's most experienced climbers, Charlie successfully conquered many of the world's highest peaks.

Tragically, Charlie, along with his climbing partner Christine Boskoff, went missing in southwestern China between November 11 and November 14, 2006. His body was discovered on Ge'nyen Mountain on December 27, 2006, and was officially identified a day later.

We are honored to have a collection that includes his personal library, magazine articles, and artifacts to celebrate his life's work and contributions.
